Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a little different this year~ We didn't have anywhere we had to be (besides church) and so we just got to stay home and hang out as a family for Caleigh's first wait for Santa! Of course though I had been so busy thinking of other things and trying to get ready for Christmas and our big trip that I totally forgot since we didn't have anywhere to go I had to make dinner! So after church we had to stop by Wal-Mart so I could grab something quick to make! I guess we are just making memories!

Before we left for the Christmas Eve Service

After church we opened our one Christmas Eve present. Caleigh is actually interested in presents~ I think it is just the paper but she seemed to enjoy opening a present!

Ready for bed so Santa can come in our Christmas pjs!

Boster Family Christmas

I always do so bad at getting my camera out at family events! I take hundreds of pictures of Caleigh while we are sitting around at home and always take my camera with us but I just can't remember to get it out!

22 Weeks

I know these pictures don't really show how much she has grown but I thought they were cute pictures! She was playing with 'Max' from How the Grinch Stole Christmas while we read the story!

Brooklyn Jackson took these pictures for us and they are absolutely amazing!! We love them and used them for Christmas presents for the family! She did such a great job and took us to some great spots! Check her out and have her do some photos for you!

New Trick

Caleigh's new trick is her toes! She is quite fascinated by them and can now get them in her mouth! She thinks it is funny! It is a little blurry but she is never still ~ even while she sleeps she is moving!

Christmas Time

This is Caleigh's fun Christmas outfit! Michael has been home a little more because it is winter so definitely use his help! One afternoon we got Caleigh all dressed up and went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping and while we were there we had to see Santa!

Caleigh did so well because we did have to stand in line and she didn't cry at all with Santa although she doesn't look like she quite knows what is going on! Sorry this picture is a little dark and fuzzy I had to take a picture of this picture that is on our mantle!

My little helper! Anywhere I sit her, lay her or hold her she now finds something to get her hands in! She has hung up the phone a couple times for me! And here she was helping me wrap or unwrap a present we were getting ready to deliver! A few seconds after I took this picture the present was on the floor with no tissue paper!

Solid Food!

Well kind of solid food! When we were at the doctor for her four month check up the doctor told us we could start her on some rice cereal by spoon. She already gets some mixed in her bottle but we could move up in the eating world to a spoon!

So last week since she is almost 5 months old we decided it was time to give it a try! She is doing a great job and is slowly getting the hang of the whole swallowing idea!

4 Month Check Up

Caleigh went for her 4 month check up and did much better with the doctor this time! She doesn't do bad she just doesn't like the doctor moving her around and listening to her heart and belly!! She did a very good job with her shots again! She only cries for a few seconds after she gets them. But this time Michael sat down with her to hold her for the nurse (I can't hold her so that is Michael's job!) and the nurse rubbed the alcohol swab on her leg and she had the biggest pouty lip we have seen~ I think she knew what was coming! It broke my heart but she is a trooper!

She weighed 12 lbs 10 oz and is 26" long!! They told us her height is in the 90% so I'm little sad to think that my baby girl is going to be taller than her momma!

Thanksgiving

Caleigh's first holiday season has already been very busy traveling here and there and about to get more exciting~ she is taking her first plane ride to Pennsylvania after Christmas!

Thanksgiving was so much fun this year! Caleigh acted very interested in the food everyone was eating so I'm sure she will enjoy next year even more! :)

Paw Paw and Me Maw
We stopped by to see Granny Boster before heading to Little Rock.

Of course once we got to JJ and GiGi's house I forgot to get my camera out but I did get a picture of Caleigh and Uncle Ron, who flew in to see her!

December 3

Ok these next few posts are going to be a little out of order but I am trying to catch up!!

December 3 was Michael's birthday....he might be upset if I say how old he is. It makes him a little sad! :)
We didn't do much because we really celebrated his birthday real early while we were in New Orleans since we got to go to the Steelers game! But we did got out to eat and spend some fun time together as a family~ we tried to take a family photo too!

1st Road Trip

We took a long weekend and drove to New Orleans! Yes it was a long drive but definitely worth it. We drove through the night so Caleigh would sleep and we wouldn't mess up her schedule too much. We went to visit Michelle and Michael and I got to go to the Steelers and Saints game.

Jackson Square

We took a trip to the zoo. Caleigh fell asleep as soon as we went through the gate and slept the entire time! but we still enjoyed the zoo!

Halloween Night. Our little lamb.

After dinner we watched the Halloween parade. It was a little warm that night and Caleigh got pretty hot so she watched most of the parade in her pjs that I had put on her underneath her costume.

Wearing her Halloween pjs after an exhausting first Halloween.

Michael and I were so excited we got to go to the Steelers and Saints game but we were sad when the Steelers didn't win. It was so exciting to have the opportunity to go to another NFL game and of course spend a few hours without toting Caleigh around. A big thanks to Michelle for hanging out with Caleigh while we went! We know she had a great time with you!

Fall Photos

This another attempt at taking some fall pictures! This is also our fall decorations outside our house. I love this Halloween outfit~we may have to wear it again even though Halloween is over!
